No need to worry - even if UPS has already confirmed the delivery of your sample, that doesn't mean it will immediately appear as "In the lab" on the platform.
After arrival, each sample first goes through a receiving process in the lab. During this, it's checked whether the sample arrived undamaged and whether all necessary information is correctly available. Only then is it officially scanned in and the analysis started.
As soon as this step is completed, the status in your myBioma platform is automatically updated and you will receive a notification by email. The prerequisite for this, however, as always, is that your sample has been activated in the platform - only then can it be assigned to you.
Depending on the lab's workload, it may take a few days for the sample to be recorded after delivery. This has no effect on the quality of your sample - the stabilizing liquid it contains ensures that the microbiome DNA remains stable for several months.
