# Can I find out with myBioma if I suffer from food intolerances or allergies?

We explain here to what extent you can find out with the myBioma test whether a food intolerance or allergy is present.

There are two different types of metabolism: bacterial metabolism and body metabolism. We analyze the DNA of gut bacteria and look at bacterial metabolism.

Allergies and intolerances belong to body metabolism and are not analyzed through microbiome tests.
