# Can I use the myBioma microbiome-test to find out if I have Helicobacter pylori?

Find out whether the myBioma microbiome-test can identify Helicobacter pylori and what needs to be considered here.

We carry out a DNA analysis of the bacteria and can thus determine all species that occur in the stool. _Helicobacter pylori_ is not easy to detect in faeces and is not normally strongly represented. The bacterium is often associated with gastric inflammation, for which there are better test methods. The myBioma microbiome-test does not contain any information on the presence of _Helicobacter pylori_.
